In order to answer some of your questions, we have created this Frequently Asked Questions page. If your question is not answered here, please contact Corey by calling (434)942-6329 or email him at corey@theindoorocean.com. 1. Can IOI maintain my personal aquarium that I already own, or do I have to lease one? IOI is happy to help you maintain your personal aquarium. Please call us for a free estimate. Rates are based on tank size, breed of fish, and condition of the tank. 2. Does IOI install and maintain ponds? Yes, we can help keep your ponds clean and healthy. We have experience with both indoor and outdoor ponds. We can also arrange to install a pond at your home or business. 3. How much work do I have to put into my aquarium if I hire IOI? You have one main job--to feed your fish. If you sign a contract with IOI, we do everything except place the food in the water. We do provide you with an easy-to-use feeding calendar that includes your food for the month. Besides feeding your fish, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy a maintenance-free tank. 4. Can IOI customize my aquarium? Yes. IOI is always thinking of ways to make your aquarium or pond stand out from the rest. If you have an idea of what you want, Corey will work with you to make it a reality. We welcome you to show us pictures of aquariums or ponds you admire so we can best serve your needs. 5. One of my fish just died! What do I do? If you have leased your aquarium from IOI, we will replace the fish at no cost to you. If the tank is your personal tank, you are responsible if you want to replace your fish. Some fish loss is normal in every aquatic habitat, but we work our hardest to keep that to a bare minimum. 6. We have a tank in our office. Who will feed them on the weekend? Your fish can survive the weekend without a regular feeding. As long as they eat well the rest of the week, they will be fine. 7. How much will it cost for IOI to maintain my aquarium or pond? We will come to your home or place of business for a free estimate. Actual services may be slightly higher or lower than the estimated price due to many elements. The price of service is based on location, amount of chemicals used, amount of time spent maintaining the unit, size of the unit, and type of set-up/ecosystem. The customer is responsible for supplying electricity and water. IOI can supply water in five gallon intervals for an amount to be determined at contract signing. |
